In the heart of Tyrol is located in the back of Oetztal valley the stunning Ötztal glaciers. Surrounded by majestic peaks, you benefit from both bestpräperierten slopes and powder snow but also of splendid sunshine hours off piste in the ski mecca in Sölden.

In Oetztal offers the highest resorts in Austria. Around Solden extend the 3,000 on some of which are lift-infrastructure. At the top a fabulous winter world with over 150 kilometers of slopes up before you.

The ALMDUDLER SNOWPARK SÖLDEN is located at Giggijoch, right below the two chair lifts and Hainbachkar Silberbrünnl. Already in its 11th season, it is built from year of park designer Christoph Schöpf and his crew and, well maintained throughout the winter, without exception, every day in shot!

The Gaislachkogel is indisputably the main mountain freeriders in Sölden. The Gaislachkogel offers of 3,058 m runs in all aspects. With mostly steep terrain, it is also a paradise for fans trough. The Giggijoch is the freeride area for beginners. The terrain is mainly characterized by open wide slopes. If somewhere is not enough snow, you will find on the Rettenbach glacier still powder snow. Mainly short to medium length runs at close range. Attention crevasses!

With a total length of 186 kilometers, the impressive trails between Umhausen and Obergurgl extend Tyrolean Oetztal. From the large variety of routes in Umhausen, Niederthai on excellent trails in Längenfeld, Huben and Gries to seclusion and guaranteed snow Obergurgl offers the Oetztal both trails for beginners as well as seasoned runners, for skaters as well as for classic skiing, athletes and for nature lovers. The biathletes come in Oetztal not too short. Thanks to new, cutting-edge shooting (Niederhai, Huben, Gries) and this trend sport can be exercised and bring great variety to the cross-country skiing.

The ice climbing is not only for specialists there. In recent years, ice climbing has developed into a true winter hit. Here in the Oetztal we have numerous frozen waterfalls, ranging from easy through to demanding.

The trails lead through snowy forests, snow-covered meadows and along the Ötztaler Ache. Perhaps you see the waterfall a few ice climbers or is pulled on the sled across the Piburger See. Here you can experience the peace and quiet. Even children enjoy a different kind of winter experience.
